During 2020, when social media really exploded, I’m actually not sure what rock I was living under. For sure, if I was 10 years younger, I would have been TikTok famous (I love to dance!); I just had no interest in social media at all. If I’m being completely honest, I tend to shy away from trends (what I call “hype”) - perhaps, a personality flaw, I suppose...? Either way, when I pivoted from real estate sales to entrepreneurship in 2022, I quickly realized that I would not / could not be successful in any business without having a social media presence. This was a struggle for me, I’m sure you can imagine! However, after much trial and error (denial and ignorance), I got serious about my business, and I made my first Instagram post ever in May 2023!
By July 2023, I had enrolled in a 10-week digital marketing course, an eye-opening game changer for me! I realized that digital marketing was not simply a tool for business, it was and is a business in and of itself! I recognize that I could have binge-watched a bunch of free videos on YouTube, but I 100% would not be able to appreciate or even fathom the full scope of the digital age we find ourselves in today. Thus, my content creator journey began with no plans of slowing down!
I’ve grown, not only, personally but also professionally after moving 2500 miles across the country from everything I knew to "lay the foundation" for this chapter of my life, pursuing the hardest thing I’ve ever done - starting a small business with minimal grasp on social media in this new digital age - and that’s actually putting it nicely!
Today, I assist home owners and home buyers in making their house a home via various digital products and in depth videos emphasizing self-advocacy and clarity of intention to ensure long-term success as a homeowner!
